Terms of Service

for GifterX Talks

1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing a ticket for or attending the GifterX Talks event (the "Event"), you (the "Attendee") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). These Terms govern all aspects of your registration, attendance, and participation in the Event.

2. Ticket Purchase and Payment

  • Payment: All payments must be made in full at the time of purchase. All prices are final.
  • Confirmation: Upon successful payment, your ticket will be issued. Please retain this as proof of purchase.
  • Ticket Holder: The ticket grants a license to attend the Event to the named Attendee only and is not transferable unless explicitly permitted by the Event organizers.

3. Cancellations, Refunds, and Transfers

  • Attendee Cancellation: All ticket sales are final. Refunds will not be issued for non-attendance or Attendee cancellation.
  • Event Cancellation/Postponement: If the Event is cancelled or postponed by the organizers, Attendees will be offered a full refund of the ticket price or the option to transfer their ticket to the rescheduled date. The Event organizers are not responsible for any other costs incurred by the Attendee (e.g., travel or accommodation).
  • Force Majeure: The organizers shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of its obligations under these Terms resulting from any cause beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, acts of terrorism, or natural disasters.

4. Code of Conduct and Attendance Rules

  • Conduct: Attendees must conduct themselves in a professional, respectful, and appropriate manner at all times. Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior toward other attendees, speakers, staff, or venue personnel will not be tolerated.
  • Right to Refuse Entry: The Event organizers reserve the right to refuse admission to, or remove from the Event, any person whose behavior is deemed unacceptable, without refund.
  • Admission: Attendees must present a valid ticket and may be required to present photo identification for entry.

5. Speaker and Program Changes

  • Flexibility: The Event organizers reserve the right to make changes to the Event schedule, agenda, speakers, panelists, and venues at any time without prior notice.
  • No Guarantee: Speaker and program changes do not constitute a reason for a refund.

6. Intellectual Property and Media

  • Recording: Unauthorized audio or video recording of the presentations, sessions, or copyrighted materials is strictly prohibited. Attendees may take photographs for personal, non-commercial use, provided they do not disrupt the Event.
  • Event Content: All content and materials presented at the Event, including presentations, videos, and handouts, are the intellectual property of the speakers or the Event organizers.
  • Use of Likeness: By attending the Event, the Attendee grants the organizers the right to use their image, likeness, and voice in photographs, video recordings, and other media taken during the Event for promotional or commercial purposes without compensation.

7. Liability

  • Assumption of Risk: The Attendee attends the Event at their own risk and assumes all risks and liabilities incidental to the Event.
  • Limitation of Liability: The Event organizers and their affiliated entities will not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property arising from attendance at the Event. The total liability of the organizers for any claim shall not exceed the amount of the ticket price paid by the Attendee.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
